Digital X-rays

When it comes to taking dental x-rays for a restorative or cosmetic dentistry procedure, digital x-rays are faster and far more convenient than conventional machines. The images taken are produced on a monitor in the treatment room, and are clear and easy to understand. The x-ray images can also be computer enhanced to magnify particular areas of the mouth. Significantly, our digital x-ray system reduces x-ray exposure by up to 90 percent, making it much safer than traditional film x-ray images.

In-Mouth Video Systems

Our in-mouth video photography system allows Dr. McArthur to take precise pictures of the teeth, so patients can see what we see during their cosmetic or restorative dentistry evaluation. The system allows us to enlarge a single tooth on the screen to show in extremely fine detail any dental condition patients should be aware of. We can even e-mail copies of the images to our patients.

Video Glasses

Patients receiving restorative or cosmetic dentistry treatments can relax and watch their favorite movies at the same time. We provide "virtual reality" goggles that feature fully adjustable stereo sound and can be worn over eyeglasses. Patients can bring in their own movies or choose one from our library.
